This website and the information contained in the SEMP annual reports is compiled and produced by the Fort Polk Directorate of Public Works, Environmental and Natural Resources Management Division (DPW-ENRMD) as part of its commitment to environmental stewardship and public involvement. Annual publication of monitoring results under the SEMP fulfills Army and US Forest Service requirements under agency Records of Decision (RODs) issued in 2004 (see links at left).
