The Fort Polk-KNF Oversight Committee met quarterly during FY21 to review and evaluate SEMP monitoring results. Committee meetings were held in March, June, and August 2021 at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Due to the Coronavirus global pandemic, the November 2020 Oversight Committee meeting was conducted through electronic distribution of the Oversight Committee brief accompanied by a comment matrix for members and meeting participants to submit comments. All comments received were redistributed to the Oversight Committee in the form of a final brief that included a comment matrix.
The SEMP FY21 Implementation Status Table identifies the SEMP objectives for which monitoring and evaluation protocols were approved and initiated as of the end of FY21. Monitoring and evaluation are now ongoing for all SEMP objectives with approximately 102 of an estimated 106, or 96 percent, of required metrics approved by the Oversight Committee. However, because there were no Army new construction projects on KNF lands in FY21, no reporting occurred under Objective 3-2 in FY21. A copy of the metrics and performance targets approved as of the end of FY21 is available here.
