FY16 performance monitoring results are available for ten SEMP objectives:
Overall performance results for all SEMP objectives were Green (positive/on track), with the exception of Objective 2-2 . The overall result for Objective 2-2 was Red (negative/off track). The FY 2016 Performance Results Summary Table provides an average performance score for each objective. More detailed results for each of the twelve SEMP objectives listed above are available in the FY16 annual report. Of 81 metrics with performance criteria, in CY/FY 2016, 69 (86%) of quarterly/annual performance results were classified as Green; 6 (7%) were Amber; and 6 (7%) were Red. An additional 21 quarterly or annual metrics do not have performance criteria but provide quantitative monitoring results to the Oversight Committee for evaluation of changes over time and other indicators.
For each Red performance result, the SEMP Oversight Committee determines whether or not a root cause analysis (RCA) will be conducted to identify the underlying cause(s) for the results. Four RCAs were completed in FY16 for Red results reported in FY15. Based on those RCAs and subsequent Committee guidance, five metrics were eliminated from the SEMP, as described in the annual report. In FY16, there were five monitoring tasks with Red results, none of which were selected by the Oversight Committee for completion of an RCA.
