FY13 performance monitoring results are available for ten SEMP objectives:

• Objective 1-1: Maneuver Damage Control
• Objective 1-2: Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance
• Objective 2-1: Red-cockaded Woodpecker Population Recovery
• Objective 2-2: Longleaf Pine Forest Management
• Objective 2-4: Bog Management
• Objective 4-1: Hunting and Other Recreational Opportunities
• Objective 3-1: Integration of Master Planning, Engineering and Environmental Concerns
• Objective 4-2: Quality of Life for Installation Neighbors: Noise, Wildfires and Road Conditions
• Objective 5-1: Joint Monitoring
• Objective 5-2: Joint Reporting, Evaluation and Adaptive Management

Overall performance results for Objectives 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-4, 4-1, 5-1 and 5-2 were Green (positive/on track). The overall performance result for Objective 4-2 was Amber (caution/improvement needed), and the results for Objectives 2-2 and 3-1 were Red (negative/off track). The FY 2013 Performance Results Summary Table provides an average performance score for each objective.

More detailed performance results for the ten SEMP objectives listed above are available here. From a total of 52 metrics with performance criteria, in FY 2013, 67% (51) of quarterly/annual performance results were classified as Green; 12% (9) of results were Amber; 17% (13) of results were Red; and 4% (3) were not measured.

Based on SEMP Oversight Committee guidance, a root cause analysis (RCA) is required to identify the underlying causes for Red performance results. In FY13, the Oversight Committee revised its procedure to allow the Committee to select among the monitoring tasks with Red results and to proceed with RCAs only for those tasks where it is thought that further analysis might improve performance.

For the previous fiscal year, there were 11 monitoring tasks with Red performance results and 4 that were selected by the Oversight Committee for RCA. The status of those RCAs is shown here; all four RCAs selected by the Oversight Committee were completed during FY13.
