FY10 performance monitoring results are available for eight SEMP objectives:

• Objective 1-1: Maneuver Damage Control
• Objective 1-2: Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance
• Objective 2-1: Red-cockaded Woodpecker Population Recovery
• Objective 2-2: Longleaf Pine Forest Management
• Objective 4-1: Hunting and Other Recreational Opportunities
• Objective 3-1: Integration of Master Planning, Engineering and Environmental Concerns
• Objective 5-1: Joint Monitoring
• Objective 5-2: Joint Reporting, Evaluation and Adaptive Management

Overall performance results for Objectives 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 4-1 and 5-1 were Green (positive/on track). The overall performance result for Objectives 3-1 and 5-2 was Amber (caution/improvement needed), and the result for Objective 2-2 was Red (negative/off track). More detailed performance results for the eight SEMP objectives listed above are available here. In FY 2010, performance results for 17 monitoring tasks were Green (positive/on track), results for 6 tasks were Amber (caution/improvement needed), and results for 9 tasks were Red (negative/off-track).

Based on new SEMP Oversight Committee guidance, a root cause analysis (RCA) is performed to identify the underlying causes for Red performance results. As of March 30, 2011, RCAs had been conducted for one monitoring task with Red results in FY 2010 (Task 2-2.2) and one task with Red results in FY 2011 (Task 1-1.2). The status of RCAs for FY 2010 is summarized here. RCAs for remaining tasks with Red results in FY 2010 will be conducted during FY 2011.
